Description
A flavorful dish combining juicy chicken and zesty jalapeños, perfect for gatherings or weeknight meals.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 2 jalapeños, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lime
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Start by patting the chicken thighs dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika.
- Heat the oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs and sear for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Add the flavor: Reduce heat to medium and add the chopped jalapeños and minced garlic. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Finish the dish: Squeeze lime juice over the chicken and cook for an additional few minutes, ensuring it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve alongside rice, salad, or tortillas.
Notes
For milder flavor, remove jalapeño seeds. Marinating the chicken enhances flavor further.
