A deliciously rich and creamy Skillet Bang Bang Chicken Thighs recipe featuring tender chicken thighs in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup of sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sriracha (adjust based on spice preference)
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet once the oil is hot.
- Cook for about 7-8 minutes or until the skin is golden brown and crispy, then flip the thighs and cook for an additional 7-8 minutes.
- Mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a bowl while the chicken is cooking.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken thighs once they are fully cooked, and reduce the skillet heat to low.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes to warm the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
