Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- Freshly chopped scallions for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and ginger. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and add it to the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Cook the chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a bit of sesame oil. Once hot, add the marinated chicken pieces, discarding the marinade. Cook until golden brown, around 5-7 minutes.
- Add the sauce: Stir in the sauce during the last minute of cooking for an irresistible gloss.
- Finish with sesame seeds: Just before serving, sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the chicken.
