Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • ¼ cup of honey
  • ¼ cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
  • Sliced green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Begin by coating the chicken pieces in cornstarch.
  2. Heat the olive oil and sesame oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a bowl.
  5. Pour the honey sesame sauce over the cooked chicken and stir well.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and toss to combine.
  8. Serve over a bed of rice and garnish with sliced green onions.
