Description
A cozy, creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and rich parmesan cheese, perfect for autumn dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 pound of chicken breast, cubed
- 3 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the cubed chicken. Season with salt and pepper and cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Sauté the garlic: Add the minced garlic to the pot and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Combine ingredients: Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the pasta and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, typically around 10-12 minutes.
- Make it creamy: Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the heavy cream and allow it to thicken for a couple of minutes.
- Add parmesan: Gradually mix in the parmesan cheese, stirring until creamy and smooth. Adjust seasoning as desired.
- Serve and garnish: Ladle the pasta into bowls, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a touch of color and flavor.
