Description

A simple and comforting No Knead Bread recipe perfect for fall, showcasing a golden crust and soft interior.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ยฝ teaspoons salt
  • ยฝ teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 ยฝ cups warm water (about 110ยฐF or 43ยฐC)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: Herbs or spices (like rosemary, thyme, or garlic powder)


Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil; stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly and let it rise for 12 to 18 hours.
  4. Shape the dough on a floured surface and form a ball.
  5. Place the dough seam-side down on parchment paper and let it rise for another 1 to 2 hours.
  6. Preheat the oven to 450ยฐF (230ยฐC) with a Dutch oven inside.
  7. Remove the pot from the oven and transfer the dough into it, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool the bread on a wire rack before slicing.
