A succulent chicken dish coated in a spicy, creamy sauce that’s light and healthy.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust for desired spice level)
- 1 tablespoon sugar-free sweetener (like erythritol)
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Lettuce leaves (for serving)
Instructions
- Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a large bowl.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Mix the mayonnaise, sriracha, sugar-free sweetener, lime juice, and sesame oil in a separate bowl until well combined.
- Remove the chicken from heat and pour the bang bang sauce over it. Toss to coat thoroughly.
- Serve on a bed of lettuce, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Using a non-stick skillet will prevent sticking. Chill the sauce for extra flavor.
