Description
Succulent chicken breasts marinated in a rich, slightly sweet Korean-inspired sauce, perfect for fall gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (use low sodium if preferred)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and corn starch until smooth.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken breasts in a bag or dish, pour the marinade over, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 4 hours.
- Cook the Chicken: Grill on medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes per side or pan-fry over medium heat, basting with leftover marinade until cooked through.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the chicken before serving warm.
Notes
For maximum flavor, marinate overnight and allow the chicken to rest after cooking for juicier meat. Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking.
