Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast, cubed
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the chicken by heating 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken breast and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Cook the onions and mushrooms in the same skillet for about 5 minutes until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms are tender.
  4. Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
