  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season your chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
  2. Sear the chicken: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic: Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Create the sauce: Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, ensuring the chicken is mostly submerged. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
