Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the broccoli by blanching it in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until bright green and just tender. Drain and set aside.
- Mix the softened cream cheese, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Combine the shredded chicken and blanched broccoli with the cheese mixture, folding everything gently until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, smoothing the top.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve after letting it cool for a few minutes.
Notes
Use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience. For a crisp topping, try crushed pork rinds or almond flour mixed with butter.
