Ingredients
- 4-6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley or thyme)
Instructions
- Prep the chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Season: In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.
- Air fry: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes. Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin-side up.
- Cook: Air fry the chicken thighs for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest and served: Let the thighs rest for 5 minutes and serve warm with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, increase temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last few minutes of cooking.
