Description

Easy and flavorful air fryer chicken thighs that are perfect for cozy fall dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4-6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley or thyme)


Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. Season: In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.
  3. Air fry: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes. Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin-side up.
  4. Cook: Air fry the chicken thighs for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Rest and served: Let the thighs rest for 5 minutes and serve warm with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, increase temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last few minutes of cooking.
