Description

A warm and comforting dish featuring tender chicken and noodles in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 8 ounces of noodles (like egg noodles or spaghetti)
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ cup of honey
  • ¼ cup of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: steamed vegetables for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook your noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the vegetable oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and sauce: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Then, pour in the honey, soy sauce, and ground ginger, stirring well to combine all the flavors.
  4. Combine with noodles: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss them with the sauce until everything is well-coated. Warm through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, toss in the chopped green onions, and serve hot.
