Ingredients
- 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 8 ounces of noodles (like egg noodles or spaghetti)
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ cup of honey
- ¼ cup of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 4 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: steamed vegetables for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the noodles: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook your noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the vegetable oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add garlic and sauce: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Then, pour in the honey, soy sauce, and ground ginger, stirring well to combine all the flavors.
- Combine with noodles: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss them with the sauce until everything is well-coated. Warm through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, toss in the chopped green onions, and serve hot.
Notes
This dish can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat with a splash of water or broth if needed.
