Description

A cozy and satisfying dish with tender chicken coated in a flavorful sesame sauce, adhering to gluten-free and paleo-friendly guidelines.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, combine coconut aminos, honey (or maple syrup), minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil: In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken pieces.
  3. Cook the chicken: Sauté the chicken until it is golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add sesame seeds: Once the chicken is fully cooked, sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken and stir to combine, letting them toast slightly for about 2 minutes.
  5. Serve and garnish: Remove from heat and garnish the dish with chopped green onions. Serve immediately for the best flavor.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the pan for best results. This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables or cauliflower rice.
