Description

Cozy up with this delicious Garlic Butter Chicken and Bowtie Pasta, perfect for a warm, hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the bowtie pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.
  3. While the garlic is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into bite-sized pieces.
  5. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
  6. Gradually add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until it melts and the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return the sliced chicken and cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the heavenly garlic butter sauce.
  8. Warm through for another minute, then remove from heat. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor and feel free to adjust the creaminess of the sauce to your preference.
