This frozen cold brew coffee slushie combines rich cold brew coffee with ice, milk, and a touch of sweetness for a smooth and frosty pick-me-up. Easy to customize and ready in minutes, it is the perfect refreshing coffee treat for warm days or whenever you are craving a coffee shop-style blended drink at home.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold brew coffee concentrate or strong brewed coffee, chilled
- 2 cups ice cubes, plus more as needed
- 2 tablespoons sugar, maple syrup, or honey
- 1/2 cup milk or dairy-free alternative
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
Instructions
- Gather the chilled cold brew coffee concentrate, ice cubes, milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the cold brew coffee concentrate into a blender.
- Add the milk or dairy-free alternative, sweetener, and vanilla extract.
- Add 2 cups of ice cubes to the blender.
- Secure the blender lid and begin blending on low speed.
- Gradually increase the speed and blend until the mixture is smooth and reaches a thick, slushy consistency.
- Pause and scrape down the sides of the blender if needed, then continue blending.
- If the slushie is too thick, add a small splash of milk or coffee.
- If the slushie is too thin, add additional ice and blend again.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness as desired.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
Use well-chilled cold brew concentrate for the coldest, smoothest texture without diluting the coffee flavor. Add more ice for a thicker slushie or more milk for a creamier consistency. Customize with cinnamon, caramel sauce, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, or your favorite dairy-free milk.
