Description
Warm and inviting French Dip Sliders that are perfect for cozy autumn gatherings.
Ingredients
- 12 slider buns
- 2 pounds thinly sliced roast beef
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Meanwhile, slice the slider buns in half without separating them completely, creating a top and bottom section.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent and fragrant.
- Place the bottom halves of the buns in a baking dish. Layer the roast beef evenly on top, followed by the sautéed onions. Sprinkle the provolone and Swiss cheese over the beef.
- Mix the beef broth with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Pour this mixture over the assembled sliders.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Allow the sliders to cool for a few minutes. Serve them warm with a side of the broth for dipping!
Notes
Choose soft, fresh slider buns for the best texture. Consider trying different cheese blends for varied flavors.
