Description

Warm and inviting French Dip Sliders that are perfect for cozy autumn gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 pounds thinly sliced roast beef
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Meanwhile, slice the slider buns in half without separating them completely, creating a top and bottom section.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent and fragrant.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the buns in a baking dish. Layer the roast beef evenly on top, followed by the sautéed onions. Sprinkle the provolone and Swiss cheese over the beef.
  4. Mix the beef broth with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Pour this mixture over the assembled sliders.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Allow the sliders to cool for a few minutes. Serve them warm with a side of the broth for dipping!

Notes

Choose soft, fresh slider buns for the best texture. Consider trying different cheese blends for varied flavors.
