Ingredients

  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound halal sausage (chicken or turkey)
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 medium onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 zucchini, sliced into thick rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)


Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients: Start by washing and chopping all your vegetablesโ€”red and green bell peppers, onion, and zucchini should all be in easy-to-handle chunks.
  2. Soak skewers: If youโ€™re using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  3. Marinate the shrimp and sausage: Combine the shrimp, sausage, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss until coated and let marinate for about 15 minutes.
