Description
Deliciously crispy air fryer chicken wings, packed with flavor and guilt-free compared to deep frying.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Your choice of dipping sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken wings: Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Season the wings: In a large bowl, combine baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, then toss the wings in this mixture.
- Air fry the wings: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Place the wings in the basket in a single layer and cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Check for doneness: Ensure wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C); if desired, cook an additional 5-10 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Serve: Remove the wings and let them rest before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce or plain.
Notes
Use baking powder for crispiness and avoid overcrowding the air fryer. Experiment with flavors and seasonings.
