Description

These Delightful Air Fryer Ham Cheese Croissants combine flaky croissant dough with savory ham and gooey cheese, perfect for cozy fall breakfasts.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated croissant dough (8 triangles)
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 8 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or a melty cheese of your choice)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter (optional, for brushing)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional glaze)
  • Optional: thinly sliced apple or fig jam for a sweet contrast

Instructions

  1. Prep the dough: Unroll the croissant dough and separate into triangles on a lightly floured surface. If triangles are large, trim slightly so they’re evenly sized.
  2. Layer fillings: Place a slice of ham on each triangle, then top with a slice of cheese. Add a thin apple slice or a small spoon of fig jam if using.
  3. Roll: Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle toward the point, tucking the ham and cheese slightly as you go to keep them inside.
  4. Egg wash: Brush each croissant with beaten egg for sheen and color. For extra richness, brush a little softened butter after cooking.
  5. Air fry: Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place croissants seam-side down in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Cook for 8–10 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted. Rotate halfway for even browning.
  6. Finish and glaze: If you like a touch of sweetness, brush with honey or maple syrup as soon as they come out of the air fryer. Serve warm.

Notes

Keep fillings thin, don’t overcrowd the basket, and watch the first batch to avoid over-browning.
