Description

This Crockpot Garlic Butter Chicken recipe is perfect for cozy evenings, featuring tender chicken thighs slow-cooked in garlic, butter, and herbs.

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Season your chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter: In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add in the minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary, and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Combine ingredients in the crockpot: Place the seasoned chicken in the crockpot and pour the melted garlic butter mixture over the top. Make sure to coat the chicken well.
  4. Cook them low and slow: Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 240-360 minutes or high for 120-180 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Garnish and serve: Once done, garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!

Notes

Searing the chicken before adding it to the crockpot can enhance the flavor. Don’t skip the herbs for a more flavorful dish.
