Description

A cozy slow-cooked chicken dish packed with rich flavors, perfect for a romantic meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crock Pot: Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Layer the Ingredients: Place the chicken breasts on top of the broth. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the chicken, followed by the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and minced garlic.
  3. Creamy Base: Cut the cream cheese into cubes and nestle them among the other ingredients in the slow cooker. Finally, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  4. Cook: Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for 240-360 minutes or on high for 120-180 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Shred and Serve: Once the cooking time is up, shred the chicken right in the pot, mixing it well with the creamy sauce. Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
