Delicious and crispy chicken tenderloins made in the air fryer, perfect for cozy dinners or quick weeknight meals.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken tenderloins
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian seasoned preferred)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Prepare your chicken: Begin by rinsing the chicken tenderloins and patting them dry with paper towels.
- Make the coating mixture: In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Set up the egg wash: In a separate bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs.
- Coat the chicken: Dip each chicken tenderloin into the egg wash, allowing excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Air fry the chicken: Place the coated tenderloins in the air fryer basket, set to 380°F (193°C), and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked to 165°F (74°C).
Notes
Preheat the air fryer for best results, avoid overcrowding the basket, and feel free to experiment with different seasonings.
