Ingredients
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let it rest.
- Create the Alfredo sauce in the same skillet by lowering the heat, adding minced garlic and sautéing for about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
- Combine the cooked fettuccine with the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Slice the chicken and place it on top of the pasta.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For best flavor, use high-quality Parmesan. Save pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
