Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes (or breadcrumbs if preferred)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or oil for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Make the breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of cornflakes and cheese.
- Bread the chicken by dipping into flour, then eggs, and finally coating with the cornflakes and cheese mixture.
- Prepare a greased baking sheet and place the breaded chicken breasts on it.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Serve after letting it rest for a few minutes.
Notes
This recipe serves 4 and can be adjusted. For crispier coating, press the chicken firmly in the breadcrumbs mixture.
