Description
Deliciously crispy sliced potatoes made in the air fryer—perfect for a cozy fall treat.
Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the potatoes: Wash and peel the potatoes, then slice them into thin, even rounds (about 1/8 inch thick).
- Soak the slices: Place them in a bowl of cold water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Season the potatoes: Drain, pat dry, and combine with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Air fry the potatoes: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and arrange the slices in a single layer.
- Cook to perfection: Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Serve and enjoy: Remove when golden brown and serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Choose starchy potatoes for the crispiest texture. Don’t skip soaking the slices, and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
