Ingredients
- 2 cod fillets (fresh or thawed)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if preferred)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray or a light drizzle of olive oil
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Mix the Coating: In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Make sure everything is well mixed.
- Coat the Cod Fillets: Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels. Gently press each fillet into the breadcrumb mixture, covering both sides evenly.
- Prepare the Air Fryer Basket: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Cook the Cod: Place the coated cod fillets in the basket and spray the tops lightly with more olive oil. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve: Once cooked, serve your crispy cod fillets with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty punch.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for even cooking. Adjust seasonings to taste and try fresh fish for best flavor.
