Description
Transform fresh corn into crispy, savory ribs seasoned with smoked paprika, perfect for a delightful snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- 2 large ears of corn
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the corn: Start by husking the corn and removing the silk. Rinse the corn under cold water, then let it dry.
- Cutting the corn ribs: Carefully slice the corn in half lengthwise using a sharp knife, then cut each half into quarters, creating rib-like pieces.
- Seasoning: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the corn ribs in the seasoning mixture until they are well coated.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.
- Air Fry the corn ribs: Place the seasoned corn ribs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden and crispy.
- Serve: Remove the corn ribs from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Choose fresh corn for the best flavor and avoid overcrowding the air fryer for even cooking. For extra crispiness, air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
