Ingredients
- 4 pieces of cod fillets (approximately 6 ounces each)
- 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- ½ teaspoon of salt (to taste)
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Set Up the Breading Stations: In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the Cod: Dredge each cod fillet in the flour, dip in the beaten egg, then press into the breadcrumb mixture.
- Air Fry the Cod: Place the coated cod fillets into the air fryer basket and lightly spray with cooking oil.
- Cook the cod for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve and Enjoy: Remove cod from the air fryer, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
