Description
One-Pan Dirty Spaghetti is a hearty Cajun-inspired pasta dinner made with ground beef, andouille sausage, tender spaghetti, and bold seasonings all cooked together in one pan for an easy, flavor-packed meal with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chuck (80/20 lean)
- 12 ounces andouille sausage, sliced
- 1 cup celery, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 12 ounces spaghetti, uncooked and broken in half
- Fresh parsley or chives, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the ground chuck in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven and drain excess fat.
- Add the sliced andouille sausage and cook until lightly browned.
- Stir in the celery and garlic, then sauté until softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil.
- Add the broken spaghetti, making sure it is submerged in the liquid.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is tender.
- Remove the lid, stir well, and let the sauce thicken if needed.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or chives and serve hot.
Notes
Stir the spaghetti occasionally to prevent sticking. Add a splash of broth if the pasta absorbs too much liquid before it’s fully cooked. Adjust the Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
