Description

One-Pan Dirty Spaghetti is a hearty Cajun-inspired pasta dinner made with ground beef, andouille sausage, tender spaghetti, and bold seasonings all cooked together in one pan for an easy, flavor-packed meal with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chuck (80/20 lean)
  • 12 ounces andouille sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 12 ounces spaghetti, uncooked and broken in half
  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground chuck in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven and drain excess fat.
  2. Add the sliced andouille sausage and cook until lightly browned.
  3. Stir in the celery and garlic, then sauté until softened.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Add the broken spaghetti, making sure it is submerged in the liquid.
  6. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is tender.
  7. Remove the lid, stir well, and let the sauce thicken if needed.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives and serve hot.

Notes

Stir the spaghetti occasionally to prevent sticking. Add a splash of broth if the pasta absorbs too much liquid before it’s fully cooked. Adjust the Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
