Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or chives)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt and pepper and searing in olive oil for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Mix the sour cream and ranch seasoning in a bowl until well blended.
- Layer the seared chicken in a baking dish and spread the ranch sauce over it.
- Add shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
