Description

A delicious blend of honey and Dijon mustard in a rich creamy sauce, perfect for a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Sear the chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the honey, Dijon mustard, and heavy cream. Stir to combine until the sauce is smooth and bubbly.
  4. Combine: Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it. Let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving for a pop of color!

Notes

For a sweeter sauce, add more honey; for tanginess, increase Dijon mustard. This dish can also be baked for a different texture.
