Ingredients
- 1 pound of ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups of mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 cups of cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the meat in a large skillet until browned. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add the mixed vegetables and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.
- Combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and cooked rice in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the casserole in an 8×8 inch baking dish by layering the meat and vegetable mixture, then pouring the rice mixture over it. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
