Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust according to taste)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season them with salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter and whisk in minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and chopped basil.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and pour the butter mixture over them.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Garnish with additional parsley before serving.
Notes
For a vegan alternative, substitute chicken with hearty vegetables and use vegan butter.
