Description
A warm and creamy pasta dish with tender chicken, perfect for chilly evenings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 12 ounces of pasta (your choice)
- 1 cup of unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain it and set aside.
- In a sizable skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in the smoked paprika, dried thyme, and salt. This blend creates the signature Cowboy Butter flavor.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes each side. Once thoroughly cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, then pour in the heavy cream and allow it to simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and well combined.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and chicken, ensuring each piece is beautifully coated in the creamy mixture.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
Notes
Always ensure your chicken is cooked thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165°F for food safety. For added flavor, squeeze some lemon juice over the dish before serving.
