Description
A comforting and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and Cowboy Butter, perfect for a family dinner or potluck.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rotini or bowtie pasta
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 1 cup Cowboy Butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once boiling, add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the chicken: In a large skillet, melt the Cowboy Butter over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sauté until the chicken is cooked through and has a golden-brown color, roughly 6-8 minutes.
- Make the sauce: Once the chicken is ready, add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Combine: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Enjoy warm!
Notes
Consider adding a splash of cream cheese for extra creaminess or sprinkling breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan on top for a crunchy texture.
