Description
These cottages cheese chicken patties combine creamy cottage cheese and shredded chicken for a warm, cozy dish perfect for fall.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cottage cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Form the Patties: Scoop a portion of the mixture and shape it into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick. Repeat this process until you have used all the mixture.
- Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the Patties: Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet. Fry them for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain and Serve: Remove the cooked patties from the skillet and let them drain on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or side.
