Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices of provolone cheese (or your favorite cheese for melting)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.
  2. Add the Vegetables: Next, add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet with the chicken. Continue to sauté for an additional 5 minutes, or until the vegetables have softened and caramelized slightly.
