Description

A warm and comforting Chicken Parm Casserole that encapsulates the flavors of classic chicken parmesan with delicious layers.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, cooked pasta, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and level the top with a spatula.
  4. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, and serve hot.
