Description
A comforting classic dish featuring creamy sauce and tender chicken, perfect for family gatherings or cozy nights in.
Ingredients
- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced into strips
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine: Begin by boiling water in a large pot. Once it’s boiling, add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper, then add them to the pan. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.
- Prepare the cream sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Combine everything: Toss the cooked fettuccine and chicken strips in the creamy sauce until well-coated. Allow it to heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish and serve: Serve your Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo hot, garnished with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor, and don’t overcook the pasta. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water.
