Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix (make sure it’s halal)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the chicken by seasoning it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, then sear for 4-5 minutes on each side in olive oil or butter.
- Make the cheesy mixture by combining sour cream, ranch dressing mix, and half of the shredded cheese in a mixing bowl.
- Combine the browned chicken with the cheesy sour cream mixture in a baking dish.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with seasonal sides.
