- 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey, adjusted to preference
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Combine the oats, ground black sesame powder, and chia seeds in a jar or container.
- Stir the dry ingredients well to ensure the black sesame is evenly distributed.
- Pour in your preferred liquid base and add the maple syrup or honey.
- Add a small pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
- Stir thoroughly until everything is fully combined and no dry pockets remain at the bottom.
- Cover the container tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- The next morning, stir the oats again and adjust the consistency with additional liquid if needed.

Notes
For an extra creamy texture, use full-fat dairy or coconut milk. Add more liquid for a thinner consistency. Customize with fresh berries, sliced banana, chopped nuts, pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds, cinnamon, or an extra drizzle of maple syrup. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days and add fresh toppings just before serving.
