Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)


Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, combine the buttermilk with a pinch of salt and pepper, and add the chicken pieces. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator, or up to 4 hours.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, and additional salt and pepper.
  4. Preheat your grill or air fryer. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  5. Roll each skewer in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha.

Notes

Serve with fresh sliced cucumbers or a side salad for a refreshing contrast. You can also customize with vegetables on the skewers.
