- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or your preferred cooking oil)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or chives, optional)
Instructions

- Soak the potato strips: Place the potato strips in a large bowl of cold water and let them soak for about 30 minutes.
- Dry the potatoes: After soaking, drain the water and pat the potato strips dry using paper towels.
- Season the potatoes: In a large bowl, mix the dried potato strips with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat your air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the potato hay: Add the seasoned potato strips to the air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry for 12-15 minutes.
- Check for doneness: The potato hay is ready when they are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve and enjoy: Transfer your potato hay to a serving dish, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
