Instructions

  1. Prep your potatoes: Start by thoroughly washing and peeling the russet potatoes. After peeling, use a mandoline slicer or a sharp knife to create thin, even strips, about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Soak the potato strips: Place the potato strips in a large bowl of cold water and let them soak for about 30 minutes.
  3. Dry the potatoes: After soaking, drain the water and pat the potato strips dry using paper towels.
