Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- Water (enough to fill the air fryer basket just below the egg cups)
- Olive oil or cooking spray (to prevent sticking)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh herbs (optional)
- Avocado slices (optional)
- Feta cheese or goat cheese (optional)
- A sprinkle of chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the air fryer by preheating it to 270ยฐF (130ยฐC).
- Set up two ramekins by lightly oiling them with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Add enough water into the air fryer basket to reach just below the bottom of the ramekins.
- Crack each egg into a separate ramekin, taking care not to break the yolk.
- Cook the eggs in the air fryer basket for about 10-12 minutes.
- Check for doneness by removing one ramekin and ensuring the egg white is set and the yolk is soft.
- Serve the poached eggs with salt and pepper, adding any desired toppings.
Notes
Use fresh eggs for the best results. Experiment with cooking times to achieve your desired yolk consistency.
