Description

Crispy chicken wings infused with the delightful essence of lemongrass, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons of lemongrass paste (or finely minced fresh lemongrass)
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce (low-sodium if preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon of lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Start by washing the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry using paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the lemongrass paste, soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the chicken wings from the fridge and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook the wings at 380°F (193°C) for about 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, consider cooking the wings for an additional 5 minutes.
