Ingredients
- 2 pounds of chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons of lemongrass paste (or finely minced fresh lemongrass)
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce (low-sodium if preferred)
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon of lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by washing the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry using paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine the lemongrass paste, soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the chicken wings from the fridge and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook the wings at 380°F (193°C) for about 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro if desired and serve hot.
Notes
For extra crispiness, consider cooking the wings for an additional 5 minutes.
