Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for warmth)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (for a glossy glaze)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  4. Toss the salmon cubes with olive oil so they don’t stick, then place them in a single layer in the basket. Cook for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  5. While the salmon cooks, warm the sauce in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until slightly thickened.
  6. Toss the cooked salmon bites gently with the thickened honey garlic glaze so each piece is coated.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and parsley. Serve with rice, roasted potatoes, or a crisp autumn salad.

Notes
