Description
Delicious and flavorful salmon bites infused with honey and garlic, perfect for cozy autumn evenings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skin removed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or a halal alternative)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the salmon: Start by cutting your salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes (about 1-inch pieces).
- Mix the marinade: In a bowl, combine the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
- Marinate the salmon: Place the salmon cubes into a large zip-top bag or a bowl, and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. For best results, marinate for 1 to 2 hours.
- Preheat your air fryer: Heat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the salmon: Remove salmon from the marinade and shake off excess. Place the salmon bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry: Cook the salmon bites for about 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Garnish and serve: Remove the salmon from the air fryer and transfer it to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For best flavor, consider marinating the salmon overnight. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for optimal cooking.
