Description
Deliciously crispy and fluffy garlic Parmesan fries made in the air fryer, perfect for a cozy snack or gathering.
Ingredients
- 4 large russet potatoes, cut into fry shapes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the potatoes: Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into approximately 1/4-inch thick fries. Rinse them in cold water to remove excess starch, then pat dry with a kitchen towel.
- Season the fries: In a large bowl, combine the dry fries with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the fries are well coated.
- Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the fries: Place the seasoned fries into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Add the Parmesan: Once the fries are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and immediately sprinkle them with grated Parmesan cheese while they are hot.
- Garnish and serve: Finish off with fresh parsley for a pop of color and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes for a crispier texture. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer.
