Description
Deliciously crispy chicken thighs made in an air fryer, perfect for autumn family dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh herbs (like parsley) for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Rub this mixture thoroughly over the chicken thighs.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- For extra crispiness, increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C) during the last 5 minutes.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C) before serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
